CoRaise is committed to protecting your privacy and being transparent about how we collect, use, and safeguard your information. This policy describes our practices in connection with the CoRaise co-parenting coordination app and applies to users in all regions where the service is available.
Information We Collect
Account Information
When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and authentication identifiers. If you use phone numbers for invitations (for example, to invite the other parent to your household), we may collect and process your phone number. This information is used to create and secure your account and to enable household linking.
Household Data
CoRaise is designed for shared households. We store information about which parent accounts belong to the same household and use household identifiers to ensure that data is only accessible to members of that household. No other users can access your household data.
User-Generated Content
The content you create and store in the app is collected and stored to provide the service. This includes messages exchanged with the other parent, expense records, receipts you upload, documents you store, and custody or schedule information. This data is used solely to operate the application and to generate reports or records that you request.
Usage Information
We may collect information about how you use the app, such as your device type, interaction logs, and diagnostics. This helps us maintain reliability, fix issues, and improve the product. We do not use this information for advertising.
Notification Data
If you enable push notifications, we use device tokens to deliver those notifications. These tokens are used only for the purpose of sending you alerts you have chosen to receive (for example, new messages or calendar reminders).
Automated Processing and AI Features
CoRaise includes limited automated processing features to assist with communication and expense tracking.
Message Mediation
Messages exchanged between parents may be analyzed by automated language systems that detect potentially escalated or hostile wording and suggest more neutral phrasing. This feature is designed to promote respectful communication. The system does not make decisions on your behalf—you remain responsible for the messages you send. You can choose whether to use the suggested phrasing or send your original message.
Receipt and Expense Processing
When you upload a receipt or image for an expense, automated systems may analyze the image to extract information such as merchant name, amount, and date. This helps pre-fill expense records so you can save time. You can review and edit the extracted information before saving the expense. These automated systems are used solely to support application functionality. Data processed by these systems is not used to train external artificial intelligence models and is not sold or shared for advertising purposes.
AI Transparency
CoRaise uses limited artificial intelligence tools strictly to assist you with communication and document processing. These tools are designed to support you by suggesting neutral language or extracting information from uploaded receipts. Artificial intelligence features in CoRaise do not make parenting or legal decisions, do not determine custody outcomes, and do not replace your judgment. They operate only as assistance tools. You remain fully responsible for reviewing and confirming all information before saving or sending it.
How Data Is Used
We use the data we collect to operate the application, synchronize household information between you and the other parent, deliver notifications you have requested, generate user-requested reports (such as expense or communication summaries), and maintain system reliability and security. We do not sell personal data.
Data Sharing
Your data may be shared only with the other parent within the same household (as required for the co-parenting coordination features) and with cloud service providers that we use to run the application. Our infrastructure providers include Firebase Authentication, Firebase Firestore, Firebase Storage, and Firebase Cloud Messaging. We do not share your data with advertising networks or data brokers.
Data Retention
Data is stored while your account remains active. If you delete your account, we will remove or anonymize your associated data where possible, in accordance with our systems and applicable law. Some data may be retained for a limited time for legal or operational reasons (for example, backup or audit requirements).
User Rights

Children
CoRaise is intended for use by parents or legal guardians. The service is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at the email above.
Security
We use industry-standard measures to protect your data, including encrypted HTTPS connections for data in transit, secure authentication, and role-based data access so that only authorized users can see household information. While we take security seriously, no system can guarantee absolute security. We encourage you to use a strong password and to keep your account credentials private.
This policy may be updated from time to time. We will notify you of material changes through the app or by email where appropriate. Continued use of CoRaise after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
